Lone Star Patriot is a veteran-owned construction company working out of Clifton in Bosque County and Tomball in the Greater Houston area. We take on remodels, roofing, flooring, additions and commercial work — and we are growing, so we are looking for people who care about how a job looks when it is finished.
Most of our work is local. That means you sleep in your own bed, you know the drive before you leave the house, and the projects you build are ones you will drive past for years.
Who we are looking for
- Carpenters and framers — rough and finish work, trim and cabinetry
- Roofers and roof crews — repairs, tear-offs, flashing and detailing
- Tile and flooring installers — tile, LVP, hardwood and subfloor prep
- Drywall, texture and paint finishers
- Remodel leads and working foremen — able to run a small crew and keep a schedule honest
- Helpers and apprentices — no experience needed if you show up ready to learn
- Estimators and project managers — comfortable with scopes, numbers and customers
- Trade partners and subcontractors — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, concrete and more

No. We hire helpers and apprentices and train them on the job — several people on our crew learned the trade with us. What we cannot teach is showing up on time, being honest about a mistake, and caring about the finished work.
No long-haul travel. Our work sits in two areas: Clifton and the surrounding Bosque County communities, and Tomball with the Greater Houston area. You will know where you are going before you leave the house, and you will be home at night.
Yes. We regularly need licensed electrical, plumbing and HVAC partners, plus concrete, drywall and specialty crews. Send your trade, the area you cover, your insurance certificate and your license number and we will keep you on file.
We read every application and call back within a few business days. If we cannot move forward right now, we will tell you rather than leave you guessing — and we keep good applications on file as the schedule grows.
Pay is based on your trade, your experience and what you can run on your own. Bring your history and we will be straight with you about the number before you commit to anything.
