Lone Star Patriot Construction and Contracting was established in 2024 by Michael Wetegrove, who retired from the United States Marine Corps and turned his attention to a need he kept seeing in his own community. The company builds custom homes on land clients already own, alongside remodeling, roofing and commercial work — the same trade and the same standard: dependable construction work done by people who keep their word.
After a career spent in project management, strategic leadership, logistics and contracting, Michael built this company the way he ran operations in uniform — with a plan, a schedule, clear accountability and no loose ends. What began in Bosque County has grown into a general contracting team that now serves homeowners, churches and businesses across Central Texas and the Greater Houston area.
That background is the reason our estimates are itemized, our timelines are realistic and our crews clean up. Construction has a reputation for chaos; we would rather be known for order.
